Raised in Berkeley and Oakland, Earle Shenk's foray into real estate commenced at age 21 when he rented out rooms in his Berkeley Victorian to fellow UC Berkeley students - a landlord at an early age.  Through necessity, he soon became accomplished in the home restoration/renovation process, from foundation to roof; these skills are being honed further as he is currently restoring a 1920's Craftsman in San Leandro.  Prior to receiving his real estate license in 1988, Earle's background included 10 years of corporate management positions in the Information Systems arena on Wall Street and with AT&T and DHL Airways in the San Francisco Bay area.  Earle also nurtured a successful career as a free-lance concert pianist with his first major appearance performing Rhapsody in Blue with orchestra at the age of seven and appeared regularly in venues throughout the San Francisco Bay area and the east coast (Tanglewood, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Library of Congress, among others).  He was also the youngest employee on payroll with the City of Oakland, hired at age 14 as Music Consultant for the Parks and Recreation Department.

Mr. Shenk excels in both buyer and seller markets and has investment experience in residential income properties throughout the United States.  "If you're going to do a job, do it right or not at all" was a favorite quote of his father's which has provided focus (drive) for Earle throughout his life.
